Web antique : Blog of ex-Physics Teacher

This blog is no longer active. I keep it as a web antique for myself and my ex-students. It reminisces me of the days that I have spent in introducing my students to amazing "World of Physics".
It gives me immense pleasure to think that throughout their life my students will be applying concepts and equations of Physics that I introduced to them. Seems like I am continuously contributing in the world of science & engineering through these young minds. Beautiful feeling indeed !!!

To anyone who is interested in studying Physics:
Just try to feel it through your body and mind. Express your feelings in mathematical equations. 😊
To my students :
Thank you for being part of my journey and making it memorable. Best wishes to you all.  😊

Class Schedule (7th Dec, 2015 Monday)

FIITJEE Class will be from 12:30 - 2:00pm (Physics) in school premises as usual. It will be combined revision class for both CBSE & CMP.

Schedule of further revision classes is under discussion and will be rolled out on Monday.
Opinion of students will be taken into consideration so we request all students to have a common consensus. Since we are finished will comprehensive coverage of entire syllabi of all three subjects teachers are with the opinion that revision plan should be according to requirement of students.

As discussed with the school academic coordinator, school classes will continue till January. And if continue with schedule upto 3:15 pm self study time for students will reduce. Devoting ample time to self study is crucial at this juncture.

So we are open for any alternate schedule too.

Important Notice for GSEB Students

As you all know that the we are finished with the comprehensive coverage of syllabus of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for board and competitive examinations.

Now is the time to revise thoroughly whatever has been covered in past 20 months, identify your weak areas and work on them.

In order to facilitate your revision process we are conducting revision classes just like regular classes (9:45 am - 2:00 pm) in school itself. Along with these classes we are taking up test analysis of AITS also as a part of revision.

Students should realize that this revision will not only help them fill gaps in their understanding but will also help them with advanced applications which they were not able to master during initial concept building process. Attending AITS analysis can help student achieve great command over application part of the subject.

But it is mandatory that all those students who attend revision classes and AITS analysis should do their assignments sincerely otherwise attending these classes will be a futile exercise.

If a teacher is discussing IIT-JEE Archive as part of revision exercise it it must for all students attending revision classes to finish relevant portion as advised by teacher. Students must not sit in AITS analysis classes without properly trying AITS paper at home.

We are well aware that even after enlisting all advantages of revision classes and AITS analysis sessions some students may not be interested in attending same. May be they are not prepared with their assignment part mentioned above. Or they do not want revision of particular subject or topic. So we are not making attendance compulsory in these classes. But if a student is not present in class then it is entirely in hands of student to utilize his/her time constructively for self study because there will not be any monitoring of student beyond classroom.

-Failing to plan is planning to fail.

So plan well and revise well. Best wishes.
