Centre of Mass Trick

A video showing how you can balance an object on a single point by giving support exactly below center mass of the object.
Here are few more tricks on same principle. 

See how I balanced few kitchen items on their center of mass :)

Cups balanced perfectly without adding water. But remember to take cups with wider side edge (coke can has wide edge hence it is easy to balance by adding water). Try balancing tumbler with very thin edge, it will be very difficult. I hope you can understand why it is so.

USA UNIVQUEST MOCK TEST & OPEN TEST

1.)    USA UNIVQUEST MOCK TEST :
A few salient points of the Open Mock Test are being :
ü  USA Uniquest Open Mock SAT is NOT an Admission Test. This is a mock SAT.
ü  The Mock Test is meant for students currently studying in classes VIII, IX, X, XI & XII. This test is being held in several centers (please see Brochure) though the programs of USA Uniquest.
ü  Test is free for FIITJEE ENROLLED STUDENTS, will be an ONLINE Test in Ahmedabad.
ü  Form has to be submitted with photocopy of FIITJEE receipt.
ü  Registration for the test starts tomorrow, i.e. 5th January 2013. The registration charge is Rs. 150 till 15th January 2013 and Rs. 250 then onwards till 25th January 2013.
ü  There will be 2 papers for each segment. Paper-1 is Test of Reasoning (English & Math) and its timing is 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs. Paper-2 is Subject Test and its timing is 14:15 hrs to 16:30 hrs.
ü  For students of class VIII, IX & X, Paper-2 will have the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry & Biology of which the students will have to select any two. For students of class XI & XII, Paper-2 will have the following subjects: Mathematics-I, Mathematics-II, Biology-E (Ecological), Biology-M (Molecular), Physics & Chemistry of which the students will have to select any two.
